Japheth Bongwoo Roe
JB Roe is currently pursuing a BFA in Studio Art at the University of South Florida’s College of the Arts. His work focuses on exploiting the limitations of two-dimensional art by obscuring figure and ground relationships through the juxtaposition of illustrations with flat, simplified layered shapes to create a vibrating pattern of fluctuating depth that either reinforce or undermine implied forms.
